Math 105 was the subject of the day. (I'm so tired of math already). Our teacher decided to pose as a student until it was time to start the class. It was easy for him to do since he looks so young. I believe he has a complex...but I don't blame him. He is rather young (28 to be exact), teaching a rather unpopular subject to a class room full of people, which about half is older than him. As long as he knows his stuff (which he seems to) and he can teach it to me (that I'm not so certain of as of yet)...all is good.
Tomorrow is Abnormal Psych. I've read the first chapter, taken notes and am ready for class. I'm not too sure how I'm gonna like this later afternoon class stuff but I'm sure I'll get by, besides it won't last forever....just three months.
On a personal note, I think my hip is outta joint and I'm seriously thinking I have to go see the Doc...nothing against Doctor A but...I really don't want to. It's gonna hurt!! It hurts anyway so I should just buck up and get it over with....and on that note...
Until tomorrow...ls

Sunday night.....
Yes, it's Sunday night, it's been a busy day but it was good. We had our visitors over for lunch, played cards and had a good time. We served baked ham, baked homemade macaroni and cheese, green beans w/bacon and applesauce...for desert we had fresh apple pie. Now we have tons of left overs and I shouldn't have to cook for the rest of the week.
Tomorrow is the first day of school for summer term. Math on Mondays and Wednesdays; Abnormal Psych on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Having two classes should be easier than doing four classes...but we shall see.
Since I'm really really tired and I don't have much to blog about...I'm cuttin this short.

Every other day?
You know what I'm talking about. Another day missed..*sigh*
Today is going to be full of cleaning, cleaning and cleaning. Tomorrow we're having people over for dinner and the house is a mess. Plus, the new stove is coming today, some time between 11 am and 3 pm.
Meanwhile, I'm watching Julie and Julia while listening to the coffee pot spit and sputter...it's smells divine. I love this movie, perhaps because I dream of being in a position like Julie...who happens to blog every day (where do you think I got my inspiration from for this blog?) and she loves to cook. Mom on the other hand, doesn't care for the movie so much; it's more of an aversion to Julia's tone of voice that just rubs her the wrong way (no offense Julia, RIP..nor to Meryl Streep..who I personally deem to be one of the best actresses known to man kind).
It sounds like the coffee is done, there's a couple of eggs in the fridge awaiting my attention and I have a messy house to conquer.

Ooopsie!
It wasn't until last night, as I was tossing and turning in bed, that I realized I hadn't blogged for the day! Shame on me. In my defense, allow me to say; I had a very rough day, both emotionally and physically and it was all I could do to get through the day. In my offense, I'm forced to say; that's no excuse. My goal is to write every day, regardless of the circumstance of the day. (minus the fact that I may not have internet access for some reason).
As for the events of yesterday, I spent three hours at Alma College. It was wonderful. I met with a Professor of English, the Registrar's office, a mini tour of campus (beautiful) and an Admission Specialist. We discussed my transferral status which will be (if/when I transfer, I will be considered a Junior. I was very impressed with the English Professor, I guess because in a way, he validated my goal and dream. We discussed where I've come from and where I want to go. It was a very interesting afternoon. With all of the positive, came the negative reality that decisions are to be made. Perhaps I shouldn't view 'having to make decisions' a negative experience but I do. Be that as it may, as of now, I have decided to still take my summer classes at Mid, although I've changed one class to make it transferrable to Alma, when fall arrives, I will take one semester off, do a little traveling and go from there.
As for today, I'm busy with doctor appointments for Mom and picking up my books for next week....ugh. Guess I better start my day!

Sister Day....
Today I spent a wonderful day with some of my sisters; Eileen, Ardella and Gayle. We ate some deeeeelicioius food, watched a movie "North to Alaska" w/John Wayne and then 'they', yes 'they' moved some furniture around. Okay, I know I'm bad, I tried to help, I helped Mom a little but the house isn't that big and with the hustle and bustle, I got out of the way. Be that as it may, it was a wonderful day!
Tomorrrow is my big day at Alma College. Mid hasn't posted grades yet, I was hoping I would know by tomorrow to contribute to my meeting....*sigh*
It's been a rainy, very cold day and I have done nothing outside other than run the mail down to the mailbox to be picked up. Even that was a stretch of activity for me on such a blustery day.

Busy Day....
It's after 7pm and I'm pooped!! Its been an extremely busy, busy day. First, I had a list (approx 2 miles long) of phone calls I had to make..and then Mom and I had to venture out into this world to: have Mom get her blood drawn, get my driver's license renewed, go to pick up med's, do some grocery shopping and Mom ventured into the Dollar Tree.
I think the employees of the DVM are strategically and specifically trained not to work with a sense of urgency. It's so aggrevating. I would have done my business on line but NOOOOOO...they needed to confirm information so I had to come in and do my business there. Oh, let me see...I've only been driving the last 30 years, I've never had a ticket nor have I got in an accidnet (knock on wood)...and THEY had to confirm info on me...pfft. They just wanted to waste my time. Okay, I know that's not true, but for some odd, unexplained reason, that way of thinking makes me feel better. As for the rest of the errands we had to run, it didn't go bad at all.
Tonight is Dancing With the Stars, Pamela A is gone and life is good. Tomorrow is cleaning day and oooh how I do not look forward to that.

Happy Mother's Day to all! Yes, this is Mother's Day and for my Mother, I made her French Toast, sausage and coffee for breakfast. I had to apologize because it wasn't really that special; we have that often for breakfast....then I just said.."that means it's just Mother's Day at our house everyday!"...haha. It's the best I can do, since I'm scrapped for money, no wrapped gifts this year.
Last night, I sat down and started to sketch my first fictional novel. This is exciting. I have already started a work of true life but once my computer crashed, and I had not saved my material, I'm finding it difficult to restart it. I have bits and pieces and hopefully...someday I will resume. Meanwhile, I'm focusing on my new piece of work..and hopefully will makes some positive progress.
